ManpowerGroup 2nd Shift Dock Supervisor in Clinton, Pennsylvania
Our client in the transportation industry is seeking a 2nd Shift Dock Supervisor to join their team. As a Dock Supervisor, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the loading and unloading of freight. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, team-oriented, and have previous dock experience.
Job Title: 2nd Shift Dock Supervisor
Location: Clinton, PA
Pay Range: $21 to $24 per hour based on experience
What's the Job?
Adhere to company safety policies
Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight using appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack, forklift and by hand as needed
Safely climb in and out of trailers
Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs frequently and greater than 75 lbs occasionally)
Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies (e.g. pallets, straps, rope)
What's Needed?
Team oriented with good attitude
Previous dock experience a MUST
Prior dock/warehouse experience in the transportation industry is a must
Prior forklift experience in a freight/less than truckload environment preferred
Pass a company paid background/drug test
What's in it for me?
Full-time shift beginning at 3:00 PM and ending when duties are finished
May require overtime
Monday through Friday schedule
