Responsibilities:

• Tax return preparation for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
• Monthly accounting utilizing double-entry bookkeeping to ensure accuracy in financial records
• Reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements
• Calculation of sales tax and related tax returns
• Payroll preparation and related tax returns

Experience:

• Associates or Bachelors degree preferred but not required. Applicants eligible to sit for the CPA exam or looking to become eligible is a plus
• 2 - 3 years of experience in a similar role (combination of education and experience will be considered)
• Proficiency in using accounting and tax software such as QuickBooks, Ultra Tax, Microsoft Office Applications, or similar systems
• Familiarity with payroll processing and relevant regulations
• Competent in tax return preparation
