Responsibilities:
- Tax return preparation for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
- Monthly accounting utilizing double-entry bookkeeping to ensure accuracy in financial records
- Reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements
- Calculation of sales tax and related tax returns
- Payroll preparation and related tax returns
Experience:
- Associates or Bachelors degree preferred but not required. Applicants eligible to sit for the CPA exam or looking to become eligible is a plus
- 2 - 3 years of experience in a similar role (combination of education and experience will be considered)
- Proficiency in using accounting and tax software such as QuickBooks, Ultra Tax, Microsoft Office Applications, or similar systems
- Familiarity with payroll processing and relevant regulations
- Competent in tax return preparation
