    Nursing Care Manager Details

    Essential Job Duties:

  • Performs RN job responsibilities and participates in patient care improvement committees.

  • Holds 24-hour accountability for unit management, staff development, and compliance with education.

  • Provides guidance for staff in patient care, monitors quality, and communicates effectively.

  • Manages the unit, including budget input, staffing, supervision, and employee appraisals.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of hospital policies, coordinates performance improvement, and guides staff on ethical issues.

    Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program - Baccalaureate degree.

  • Two years successful experience as a staff nurse.

  • ER RN experience preferred

  • Management experience preferred

    License/Certification:

  • Currently licensed by the Health Professions Service Bureau, Indiana State Board of Nurses as a Registered Nurse.

  • BLS level of CPR certification is required
