Job Description

AECOM is looking for an Associate Vice President for a New Jersey movable bridge practice. This role involves acting as both a seller and doer, focusing on commuter rail, freight rail, light rail, and highway bridge movable structures. The successful candidate will support the ongoing growth of our well-established practice and drive business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee project execution as a project manager on movable bridge projects, guiding teams through various project phases including construction.

• Technical Leadership: Lead the development of technical project concepts and play a key role in the pursuit phase to secure new projects.

• Business Development: Engage with existing and prospective clients to identify new project opportunities. Participate in the formation of project teams and go/no-go decisions on potential projects.

• Travel: Be prepared to travel as needed to meet project and client needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education including 2 years of leadership experience.

• Current P.E. license with ability to obtain reciprocity in other states.

• Successful record as project manager with the delivery of on time and on budget movable bridge projects, in all project phases including design and construction.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree with 12 years experience

• Project experience on commuter rail/freight rail bridges and State DOT bridges.

• Knowledgeable of standard engineering practices, techniques and applicable Codes.

• Project management skills, including proposal preparation

• ·Experience in traditional and alternative delivery

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $230,000.00 - $250,000.00.
