Description We are on the search for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the Drinks & Beverages industry, based in Clifton, New Jersey. This role focuses on managing and resolving past-due accounts, maintaining customer relationships, and assisting with the company's overdue invoices. This is a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage accounts that are overdue

• Engage with customers to settle outstanding balances

• Develop payment plans when necessary

• Keep accurate records of customer communications and payment statuses

• Work closely with internal teams to address billing discrepancies

• Provide frequent updates on the progress of collections

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions

• Assist in the processing of customer credit applications

• Maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory.

• Experience in Billing, Cash Applications, and Cash Collections is essential.

• Familiarity with Commercial Collections and B2B collections is required.

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Knowledge of Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for managing financial transactions.

• Must have strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Must possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
