Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a VOIP Engineer for one of our clients in the education management industry. Our client is a growing leader in the education space, operating schools and educational programs around the world that span the life cycle of a student from early learning to higher education. In this role you will be required to support multiple schools and educational programs in the state of Ohio, with the bulk of the work being based in Cleveland and Columbus. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with travel and has reliable transportation.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and managing services to ensure all technology and telecom systems are maintained and operational. We are looking for someone who has experience with multiple voice & video platforms, but our client is focused on someone who specifically has experience with RingCentral. In this role there is an onsite busy season and an off-season. During summer months is the busy season where you will be required to be onsite at various schools setting up VOIP systems for new schools or migrating current schools to a newer VOIP system and providing onsite technical support 50-75% of the time. During the off-season, there is still some travel about 10-20% of the time to various schools who might need onsite support.

Additional Responsibilities will include:

• Account creation, termination, management of users access, and support for all VOIP environments.

• Build strategic relationships with internal counterparts and external vendors, holding them accountable for delivery.

• Implement and support logging, alerting, and monitoring tools to check and ensure platform uptime and performance.

• Establish standardized tools and operational procedures.

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a VOIP Engineer

• Experience with RingCentral

• Comfortable/flexibility to travel

o During summer months 50-75% of the time

o All other months 10-20% of the time - Experience with network cabling

• Experience with paging solutions (Algo preferred) null
