2nd shift: 3:30pm-12am - 20% shift premium offered

Job Description

Responsible for leading the construction of several products concurrently. Interpret design blueprints to determine die/mold making plan. Perform operations within very close tolerances. Must have their own tools and toolbox. Ability to inspect own work and work with Engineering and Programming throughout the manufacturing process. Able to operate multiple machinery including Bridge Port, Grinders, Saws, and EDM. Must comply with Corporate EHS, Quality, and HR rules and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the construction of multiple products concurrently.

• Interpret design blueprints to determine die/mold making plan.

• Perform operations within very close tolerances.

• Inspect own work.

• Collaborate with Engineering and Programming throughout the manufacturing process.

• Operate multiple machinery including Bridge Port, Grinders, Saws, and EDM.

• Comply with Corporate EHS, Quality, and HR rules and standards.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift 40 pounds.

• 5+ years of tool making/mold making experience.

• Previous experience in the construction of turbine/airfoil molds and dies strongly preferred.

• Ability to effectively work and communicate as part of a die making team.

• Basic Math and Trigonometry knowledge.

• Thorough knowledge of the tooling process.

• Experience with set up and operation of Bridgeports.

• Operation of Sinker EDM Machines.

• Blueprint reading.

Work Environment

These positions will be at a newly renovated facility in Brecksville, OH, which includes temperature control for manufacturing. This site supports the main facility and will involve CNC Machining and Tool & Die work. The shift is 2nd from 3:30pm to 12am with overtime on the back end of the shift if required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $76960.00/yr.
