Job Description: Overview: Under the general supervision of the Talent Risk & Relations Director, the Talent Relations and Leave of Absence Manager will be a dynamic and detail-oriented HR professional who will focus on providing comprehensive support for leaves of absence while also driving process improvements and efficiencies in leave of absence administration and other HR processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating and driving process improvements in HR, managing employee records, and assisting in the administration of leaves of absence in compliance with company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities: HR Coordination: Work with Talent Risk & Relations Director to support employee lifecycle processes with a focus on identifying and eliminating inefficient and manual processes, to the extent practicable, and leveraging technology to gain efficiencies. Utilize HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other relevant tools to manage employee data, leave of absence cases, and HR processes effectively and efficiently. Leave of Absence Support: Ensure compliance with leave laws, including the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and other applicable regulations. Serve as the main point of contact for employees regarding leaves of absence, providing information and guidance on policies and procedures. Collaborate with employees, managers, and medical professionals to coordinate the leave process. Administer and track leaves of absence, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to leaves of absence. Analyze relevant data to identify trends and areas for improvement in both leave of absence and HR services. Identify opportunities to automate or leverage other tools to enhance and elevate leave of absence administration. Policy Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of HR policies related to leaves of absence. Stay updated on changes in leave laws and regulations to ensure policies remain current. Training and Education: Support the development of training and education materials for relevant stakeholders on HR services and leave of absence processes. Keep the Talent Risk & Relations team informed about best practices and industry trends. Communication: Effectively communicate leave policies, updates, and procedures to employees, managers, and relevant stakeholders. Provide clear and timely responses to employee inquiries related to leaves of absence. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in HR coordination and support for leave of absence services. Specialized Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local leave laws, including the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and related processes.
