ArcelorMittal USA LLC Program Manager Technical Training in Cleveland, Ohio

Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opportunity for a Program Manager Technical Training. The Program Manager will work closely with various plant locations to create partnerships and develop skilled trade workforce pipelines with local community colleges, vocational schools, and high schools. The Program Manager will evaluate skillsets and help plants implement strategic training and apprenticeship programs to meet company goals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with cross-functional teams, manufacturing, or training experience, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment with complex operations. This position may be based in any of our locations. Summary of Responsibilities: Develop and implement sustainable goals for the organization related to the skilled trade workforce. Collaborate with internal and community stakeholders to discuss skilled trade program development. Coordinate state and federal grant funding with plants, intermediaries, and government agencies. Partner with union leadership to maintain and improve partnership alliances. Assist in the management of skilled trade and apprenticeship accreditation and testing. Participate in high school and college career fairs to educate students about manufacturing careers. Assist in developing and instructing courses for high school manufacturing camps to support community outreach. Evaluate and assess "advancing technology" training tools such as online training programs, online virtual reality simulation, 3D tabletop modeling, and tangible skilled trade training simulators. Reconcile skilled trade training data from facilities for the annual Cleveland-Cliffs Sustainability report. Visit plant sites to assist in identifying training issues and opportunities. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma. 2+ years of related experience in manufacturing or training. Ability to effectively schedule and manage tasks working with facilities across the organization. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Solid leadership and partnership skills. Ability to collaborate with company and union committees across the organization. Minimal travel to various plant locations, as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
