OVERVIEW The Material Handler is responsible loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near plant, yard, or work site. DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for following work orders and/or verbal instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand and using tow motor. Records daily material handling metrics Maintains inventory of packing materials and finished paper May assist with shipping or received as needed. All other duties as assigned WORK EXPERIENCES 1-2 years in an industrial manufacturing environment required Prior forklift or tow motor experience preferred. Ability to be certified is required. Proven ability to successfully meet customer and management deadlines. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or general education degree (GED); equivalent experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
