Maintenance Technician

1st shift - 6a-4:30pm - 50 hours per week

Job Description

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in a machine shop environment. You will be responsible for maintaining CNC machines, grinding, and manual machines. The ideal candidate should be able to identify problems quickly and utilize time management skills effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical drives, servo motors, and encoders.

• Maintain and repair pneumatic systems.

• Assist in new equipment installations and moving equipment as needed.

• Perform preventative maintenance such as filter changes and oil changes.

• Read and understand blueprints and schematics.

• Communicate with OEMs and vendors to resolve problems if additional troubleshooting is required.

• Perform general facilities maintenance.

Essential Skills

• 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.

• Ability to read blueprints.

• Basic electrical maintenance knowledge.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with electrical repair and maintenance.

• Knowledge of 480V, 3-phase electrical systems.

• Motor repair and troubleshooting skills.

• Experience with photo eyes, sensors, and limit switches.

• PLC troubleshooting skills.

Work Environment

1st Shift: 6am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime is available after 8 hours with double time on Saturdays. The work environment is very clean, quiet, and organized, providing a great setting for someone passionate about the industry. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
