Huntington National Bank Group Product Manager - Consumer Digital in Cleveland, Ohio

Description

This is a Product Group Manager Role within the Digital Innovation & Strategy team that will focus on efforts to digitally enable our customers and colleagues. We do this through leveraging technology to forward progress our product roadmaps and through making our products easy and simple to purchase. This team is tasked with working across consumer, wealth, and business customer sets to identify opportunities for business performance improvement. This involves research and development of new concepts that add value for target customers along with tactical implementation. Partnership and dynamic thinking are key aspects of the role as this roll works with all our product teams and channel teams. This person will be responsible for ownership over components of the strategy and for hitting business financial targets.

This role will be initially responsible for:

  • Working to deliver on financial and strategic outcomes for the Consumer & Regional Bank

  • Partner across all product areas to forward their roadmaps and optimize value for the organization as a whole

  • Drive the development and business casing of digital enablement concepts for prioritization and execution

  • Support the digital delivery strategy execution with an emphasis on product innovation and digitally enabling holistic financial advice that includes both consumer banking, business banking, and investment solutions

  • Developing and vetting potential concepts for investment in collaboration with business stakeholders (e.g. Product, Marketing, Sales Management) and digital experience owners; building business cases to quantify the benefit/rationalize the investment through analytics and research

  • Building an infrastructure to track KPIs/financial performance of approved investments against business case expectations and value stream commitments

  • Participating in ongoing execution of concept portfolio to ensure that the build and delivery preserves the economic and strategic principles that driving the investment

In this role, a few key skills we are searching for include:

  • Ability to define the data necessary to answer strategic questions, solve a problem, or make a recommendation

  • Ability to perform financial proforma analysis and spreadsheet modeling

  • Ability to simplify work output at a summary level with crisp visuals in power point

  • Strong presentation, collaboration, and communication skills

  • Experience developing and presenting business cases

  • Strong experience challenging the status quo while getting key stakeholders to buy in on change

  • Tactical understanding of sales processes and how financial products and services are delivered in the real world

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing, product management, or related experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of Banking, Finance, or Investment experience

  • Strong knowledge about deposit, lending, and/or investment products

  • Excellent skills with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or other Business Relevant Master’s Degree

  • Product management experience in financial services

  • Progress toward a Charted Financial Analyst (CFA) designation

  • History of leveraging data, customer research, and competitive benchmarking to build business cases

  • Hands on experience with pricing strategy and concepts of demand elasticity

  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communications skills; written and verbal

  • Knowledge and working experience in data manipulation tools such as SAS, R, SQL, Business Objects, or other tools to query large databases and manipulate large data files.
