Job Description

The data analyst will support the data conversion of the SAP ERP implementation and the development of the standard data conversion load processes for the divisional deployments. The data analyst will also be responsible for the taking the data from the divisions and loading the data into SAP S/4.

Scope/Supervision and Interaction: This role reports to the SAP Data Conversion lead

Directly works with the division data team on the data conversion and strategies for system implementation and divisional deployments. Supports team working with internal and external IT and consulting functions supporting the data conversion load into SAP S/4. Provides support on the divisional data conversion activities directly focused on the SAP data conversion load process. Works closely with functional leads, the MSS Data Conversion team, the SAP Data Conversion lead, the SAP Consulting Team, the SAP Business Technology team, the SAP Divisional Deployment team, SAP project management, and other Parker third party providers.

Essential functions

• Directly responsible for the data conversion load activities into an SAP S/4 system

• Working with the divisional data extract team to load data into SAP addressing any additional data needs required by SAP S/4

• Responsible for the data load into SAP S/4 and working with the divisional data validation team to ensure they have all the information and reports required to perform data validation

• Coordinate the data load process with the SAP PMO team

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present and explain technical information to various audiences

• Directs the building of data conversion load processes in the Parker data conversion tools.

• Gathers data across multiple data sources, analyze it and translate the results into non-technical language for division team members

• Prepare design of data conversion load process and works through the operationalization and automation of the process

• Responsible for identification of additional improvement opportunities in data conversion load process, and work towards the development and successful adoption for these improvements

• Support various corporate requests as needed and required by Enterprise Director IT

• Document division data requirements and work with the data team lead to determine how to handle scope items.

• Develop and maintain data conversion load program documentation.

• Convert data from multiple data sources into a standard SAP structure.

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

• Experience with SAP Migration Cockpit

• Verify data integrity and identify data cleanliness issues.

• Reconcile converted data to ensure accuracy.

• Write and maintain automation scripts as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum four-year bachelor’s degree

• 2 or more years’ experience within SAP data conversion experience, specifically experience with Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW) or SAP Migration Cockpit

• SAP S/4 implementation experience a plus

• Experience working with system implementations and system data loads

• Data conversion and data governance experience

• Strong managerial, communication, and interpersonal skills
