Electrical Engineering Tech II

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Tech II to provide production technical support and resolve issues for in-service and legacy aerospace electronics products. You will be working with power inverters, transformer rectifiers, and generator control units for Embraer KC390.

Responsibilities

• Provide production technical support and resolve issues for in-service and legacy aerospace electronics products.

• Perform troubleshooting and lab testing on aerospace electronic products.

• Prepare dispositions for non-conformance of aerospace electronic products, following investigation and development of substantiating data.

• Liaise regularly with manufacturing and suppliers to clarify and provide engineering input during the manufacturing process.

• Monitor troubleshooting trends on product lines and use first pass yield data to direct design-related improvements.

Work Environment

You will be working onsite at a FAA Part 145 Repair Station in an audited facility, in a safety-sensitive role. This is a 12-month contract with the potential for a long-term position. You will be part of a team of about 100 people, assisting technicians, design engineers, and external customers.
