Job Description What We Do The Group Finance team is essential in consolidating financial information from various divisions and reporting to our Executive Management Team and Divisional Finance teams across the globe. We handle everything from management reporting and annual reports to budgeting, forecasting, and investor information. Our goal is to provide accurate, insightful data that drives strategic decisions and performance improvements. About the Role As part of our Group Financial Reporting Systems (GFRS) team, you'll be at the heart of our financial data consolidation and reporting efforts. This role is crucial for supporting our business and Shared Service Centre (SSC) users in the US and ensuring smooth operations across our Group Financial Systems. Key Responsibilities Be the Go-To Expert: Act as the primary contact in the US, connecting with the UK Group team and regional business and SSC contacts. Provide Support and Training: Offer day-to-day assistance and training to system users to ensure they can effectively utilize our financial systems. Ensure Timely Reporting: Oversee the monthly collection and reporting of data, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards. Drive Performance Improvement: Use comprehensive data and analytical tools to help Group Finance and the wider business achieve strategic goals and enhance performance. Support System Integration: Assist with Group Consolidation, reporting, and system integration, ensuring robust and accurate data management. Enhance Data Architecture: Maintain and manage data architecture to ensure reliable management information and a single source of truth. Champion Change: Contribute to developing change control processes and support frameworks to align with internal and external standards. Develop SAP-FC: Help in specifying and refining SAP Financial Consolidation (SAP-FC) and reporting tools, including data model changes and user acceptance testing. Produce Reports: Support the generation and delivery of reports to FP&A, divisional accounting teams, and Group stakeholders according to schedules. Foster Continuous Improvement: Challenge existing processes and drive constant enhancements to our group processes. Become a Subject Matter Expert: Develop deep expertise in consolidation and analytics. Qualifications Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate the following skills and qualities: * 2-4 years of Systems Accounting experience preferred * Systems analyst skills and a solid understanding of database design and structures * Practical experience of financial reporting & accounting principles * Be a data expert, i.e. comfortable with large, complex sets of data * Analytical approach to problem solving * Dealing with users across the globe, confidence in multiple languages would be beneficial.
