As a Test Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of testing activities and the delivery of high-quality products. You will lead and coordinate a team of test technicians to deliver high-quality solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, ensuring that all necessary tests are conducted to validate product performance and reliability. You will provide technical expertise and guidance to the team in conducting tests and analyzing results, ensuring that all testing activities are carried out accurately and efficiently.

You will report directly to our Senior Test Engineering Supervisor and you will work onsite at our Clearwater, Florida location on a first shift work schedule.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our engineering projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment and achieve project goals.

The Electronic Solutions Strategic Business Unit at Aerospace Technologies houses a robust portfolio of technology solutions, including integrated avionics offerings, navigation, safety and surveillance solutions, flight management systems, flight controls and synthetic vision display technologies, manned/unmanned and satellite applications, and our space technologies. Approximately 90% of global aircraft use Honeywell Avionics, and around 80% of satellites in orbit have Honeywell components on board.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and coordinate a team of test technicians to deliver high-quality solutions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team in solving complex engineering problems

• Ensure timely and successful completion of projects within budget and scope

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes and efficiency

• Maintain and repair specialized test equipment to ensure accurate and reliable testing

U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENT

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.

MUST HAVE

• Minimum 6 years of experience in test engineering or a similar role

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Experience with test methodologies and tools

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
