Job Description

Summary:

A large automotive client is looking for a Labor Time Technician in Clawson, MI. This role will time the process to take apart and put the vehicle back together while optimizing the process as they go through the cars. This individual needs to be able to work on every part of the vehicle. They will be going through service manuals and validation service procedures and marking up procedures if there is a better way to do it, and then entering that data into Excel if a change is made.

Specific Responsibilities of this Position:

Perform on vehicle Validation of service procedures

Identify errors and possible optimizations within service procedures

Perform time studies of removal and installation procedures

Document validations and time studies

Document and communicate project status to leadership as required.

Perform special assignments as requested

Skills and Requirements

2+ years experience as an Automotive Technician

Hands on vehicle experience (tear-downs)

2+ active ASE Certifications

Knowledge of Excel Associates or Bachelors Degree null
