Job Title: Production Control Specialist

Location: Clarksville, TN

Shift: 1st Shift

Jostens is hiring! We are looking for a Production Control Specialist is responsible for entering production specs, dates and data (commercial and yearbook printing) into a variety of production programs, to include scheduled ship dates during Peak production times. The incumbent calculates quick turn jobs for scheduling yearbook jobs and efficiently produces, modifies and distributes predefined queries and reports generated in multiple platforms.

Understanding data, reacting and adapting effectively to changes throughout the season, prioritizing and excellent reporting skills are integral to success in this position. May be required to perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by production management.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School degree or GED

• Excellent communication skills – written & verbal

• Intermediate to advance proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Access

• Ability to create, run and interpret Access Queries, Pivot Tables, Charts & Graphs

• Ability to efficiently manage competing demands & prioritize tasks based on urgency & importance

• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, organizational skills, & detail-oriented

• Ability to work with and understand product data and metrics

• Willing to work flexible hours and overtime with short notice

• Works well under the pressure of deadlines

• Must have flexibility to learn and use new technology

• Excellent attendance record

• Must be able to lift 10 lbs.

Preferred:

• Associates Degree in Business or similar field

• 1-2 years of experience working in an office environment

• Exposure to a manufacturing environment
