POSITION: Thunder Jet Wood Fabricator

DEPARTMENT: Rigging

REPORTS TO: Rigging Supervisor

Starting range ($20.20-$21.00)

Position Summary:

Team members will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and fitting all of the internal wood components inside the boat.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Operates and maintains hand and power tools and equipment

• Operates high powered circle, jig, table saws

• Installs basic hardware and components

• Performs general housekeeping and maintenance

• May be required to perform other duties as needed

Required and Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of a variety of hand/power tools.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Minimum of 1 year recent mechanical or assembly experience.

• Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for 10+ hour shifts.

• Ability to follow established safety processes.

• Detailed and organized.

• Self starter, team player with a good safety awareness.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, see, sit, and use arms, hands and fingers to key and ma The employee will frequently be exposed to a heavy manufacturing work environment that includes high noise level and exposure to chemical vapors, moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, vibration, and electricity. Eye and ear protection, as well as steel toed shoes, are required at all times in the manufacturing environment. Hard hats may be required in certain areas of the work environment.
