This is an advanced, skilled, mechanical position involving the repair and maintenance of all types of heavy highway equipment and construction equipment. The work is characterized by the degree of complexity, independence, and technical discretion. The work is performed under the direct/indirect supervision of the Shop Foreman and is reviewed for overall results. The employee uses considerable independent judgment in making decisions with the availability of supervision. This position requires travel and work out of town at job sites for an extended period of time. Works safely at all times. Adheres to all applicable safety policies. Complies with all company policies, procedures and standards.
