Description/Job Summary

The primary function of the Quality Auditor is to check and perform tests on bags as they come off the lines to assure appropriate weights, sizes, bag seals, dart tests, etc.

Responsibilities/Duties

*Responsible for measuring and weighing finished bags to assure quality and compliance with specific stndards and written orders

*Must check bag seals by performing "burst" tests

*Responsible for checking the printing for accuracy and quality

*Responsible for determining "tare weights" on bags

*Must check and sign off on finished skids

*Responsible for putting a "stop hold" on finished product that does not meet quality standards

*Abides by all Company policies including, but not limited to, Safety, Environmental, and Plant rules; practices good housekeeping at all times

*Performs other duties as required to support the department and the Plant.

Required Education

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
