Lab Pilot Plant Associate (Multiple position)
30 Terminal Avenue Clark, NJ - Onsite role
06+ month contract with high potential for extension
Pay range: $20- $25/hr
Must Have:
Bachelors degree in Chemistry or chemical engineering.
Perform some analytical testing, such as pH, viscosity, specific gravity, as required.
Setup equipment, instruments and stage raw materials and supplies to produce smooth batching and analysis of pilot batches. Maintain recordkeeping of pre-weigh batches and adjustment materials, when necessary.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Pilot Plant Associate is responsible for performing assigned tasks, which support Pilot batching and material handling, organize facility and supplies, assist with warehouse inventory management, stage raw materials for pilot batches, and perform other tasks as required.
JOB TASKS:
• Follow LOréal policies and practices including, but not limited to, quality, environmental, safety and health procedures.
• Setup equipment, instruments and stage raw materials and supplies to produce smooth batching and analysis of pilot batches. Maintain recordkeeping of pre-weigh batches and adjustment materials, when necessary.
• Maintain Pilot bulk and Pilot components storage in Kardex and flammable storage.
• Label excess raw materials and bulk for destruction and removal per cGMP, DEP and LOréal guidelines.
• Perform some analytical testing, such as pH, viscosity, specific gravity, as required.
• Perform other duties as instructed by manager and the demands of the business.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelors degree in Chemistry or chemical engineering.
• 2+ years experience in process equipment or manufacturing environment; will consider recent graduates with relevant internship experience or scientific degree
