Kelly Services Desktop Technician in Clark, New Jersey

Job Title: Desktop Technician II

Pay rate: $27.82 per hour

Duration: 1 month

W2 contract only (No C2C)

Location- Clark, NJ, 07066

Job Description:

IT equipment installation

*Tools are not provided. Techs are required to wear PPE.

Procedure

1) Take monitors out of the box (E24 G4 and E24m G4)

2) Install monitors to the monitor arms

a. The docking monitor (E24m) will be installed on the left, and the regular monitor (E24) will be installed on the right.

b. E24m is a docking monitor connected to the E24 monitor

3) Connect two monitors with a cable and additional USB-C from the docking monitor

4) Connect the keyboard and mouse to the back of the docking monitor (E24m G4)

5) Manage cables through the cable tray in the monitor arm

6) Attach privacy screens to each monitor

7) Adjust monitors to be at the same height

8) Test the dual monitor setup after the installation

9) Remove foams from the box and flatten the boxes

10) Move foams and flattened boxes (including all remaining/unused parts) to the recycle container

Qualification/Skills Required:

  • *Preferable with a Diploma in Computer Engineering or related fields with experience in PC/printer support & maintenance.

  • *Proficient in English (written & oral) *Pleasant personality & positive attitude, Effective end-user communication, analytical skills & customer oriented

  • *Proficient in supporting Windows 11 client environment, Possess working knowledge in Outlook, WINDOW-based applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint

  • *Basic knowledge in troubleshooting network connections with some understanding of basic TCP/IP concepts.
