Technology Repair Technician (through ESS Staffing Services)    *(Entry Level Position)  * 

REPORTS TO:                                  Technology Director, Coordinator or Designee   STARTING DATE:                          *As soon as possible   *WORK DAYS PER YEAR:            12 month position -- Five (5) days per week; Eight (8) hours per day   QUALIFICATIONS:                     Associates degree (or in the process of completing an Associate's degree) in a computer related field, or equivalent (i.e. completing a two year technical trade degree program) in Electronics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Science, or  related field and one year of work experience in programming, computer systems repair, database design or a related field desired.  A combination of equivalent education and work experience will be considered.   JOB OBJECTIVE:  To assist in facilitating organizational responses to district technology, educational and administration needs in accordance with the School Improvement Plan.  Areas of responsibility includes; but is not limited to, systematically providing advice, guidance and support to staff in matters pertaining to information access and processing. Trouble shooting, and repairing computing devices and other related technology equipment.  The installation, support and maintenance of computers, software, video, and other instructional technologies will be a major function of this position.   APPLICATION DEADLINE:        Open until filled
