Minimum requirements: • Previous delivery and customer service experience is preferred, but not required. • Insurable driving record. • Ability to lift or move 50 lbs. and be in up and out of truck constantly throughout the day. • Ability to work in all weather conditions. • Work cooperatively with management, colleagues, and most importantly customers. • Familiarity with the greater Portland area and ability to follow driving directions. • This is a safety sensitive position. We do preemployment drug tests, including THC. A typical day in the life of a Milkman or Milkwoman: • Deliver dairy and other products to homes using handheld delivery computer while meeting productivity standards and completing work in a timely manner • Control inventory and handle purchase orders for daily deliveries based on standing orders and projected sales • Resolve service concerns • Wear company uniform daily and maintain a neat and clean appearance at all times • Maintain cleanliness of truck, perform pre and post trip inspections of truck daily, and add fuel, oil and fluids to truck as necessary • Follow directions but work independently while maintaining a high level of customer service, productivity and self-motivation • Customer interaction is constant, and this position requires outstanding customer service skills.
