Continental Pricing Team Lead in Ciudad de México, Mexico

  • Implement a competitive price intelligence corridor and process to monitor relative price positions.

  • Analyze the market, identify opportunities and develop recommendations for revenue management on all tire product lines and sales channels. Process to include a thorough and comprehensive sell-in pricing analysis, as well as sell-out studies to provide a complete market picture.

  • Develop & implement tools, processes & procedures to be utilized in support of consultative selling / value added selling process for the field sales force.

  • Coordinate linked processes with Product, Marketing Intelligence, Sales Management to find synergies and support Pricing strategy.

  • Provide all areas a disciplined & systematic price policy, structure and process for all customers.

  • Ensure that all price conditions, programs are properly applied, maintained & updated within SAP and other Continental systems.

  • Provide leadership in the development and maintenance of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for Pricing Development for CAMEXCA, to include periodic updates / presentations to Business Unit leaders. Process to include the creation and maintenance of “Dashboard” tools to update management of market development by key segment.

  • Participate in best practice sharing and collaborative projects within the Americas Pricing Team, as well as Global Pricing projects. Develop & manage the Tire Programs for CAMEXCA region in coordination with Global pricing standards for the Continental Brand.

  • Analyze and track the market, identify opportunities, trends and develop recommendations to maximize overall profitability for all tire product lines.

  • Implement a competitive price intelligence process to monitor relative price positions, aligned with finance and sales based on strategy and revenue.

  • Participation in generation of the business strategy for the next 5 years with head of market and marketing manager.

  • Business analysis in terms of profitability (business impact, reason for variations, identification, interpretation and knowledge of monthly KPIs.

  • Accountable for all Pricing module, make sure that all commercial conditions are set properly for customers and channels an track and solve issues regarding uploads for pricing conditions or special authorizations.

  • Prepare and help in presentations, able to visualize data in a compelling manner.

  • Participate with different departments with market, pricing and economic factors for Budget and Forecast.

  • Take active decisions in price definition with insights based on analysis: projects, KPI Reports, Sales analysis, Mkt Intelligence, pricing and product.

  • Evaluates cost to develop pricing strategies and models, understand contract negotiations and bids as well as proposal development.

  • Manage & evaluate discounts and conditions of each distributor in SAP maintaining pricing congruence.

  • Develop & implement tools, processes to be utilized in support of consultative selling, good communication and support to sales team.

  • Programs and rebates management and comparisons for insights about interchannel competitiveness.

  • Maintain internal pricing structure to keep interbrand and interchannel positioning correctly.

  • Develop and implement tools to obtain valuable data about Pricing Elasticity to generate the correct insights for different pricing actions & volume.

  • Generate & manage the Pricing Deep Dive & important updates to keep track of market, sales force, product insights to reach the correct competitiveness.

  • Develop and implement tools to track Sell In to Sell Out to generate the correct insights for Dealers margins.

  • CRA analysis & authorizations as well as correct price setting in SAP.

  • Bachelor´s degree completed.

  • At least 5 years of experience in related field is required.

  • Advanced level of English ( interviews will be in English ).

  • SAP knowledge is required. ( other ERP experience will be considered ).

  • Business Dynamics Knowledge.

  • Data-requirements gathering, validation and analysis.

  • Market Knowledge focused to automotive OR tire industry OR B2B.

  • Price Execution.

  • Pricing Strategy.

  • Product Knowledge will be a strong plus ( tires ).
