Citigroup Analista Middle Office Deuda y Capitales in Ciudad De Mexico, Mexico
The Securities & Derivative Analyst 1 is an entry level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.
Responsibilities:
Perform trade verifications to ensure accuracy of booking requests
Generate and match trade confirmations according to the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) templates
Complete settlement tasks and daily rate revaluations accurately and on time
Coordinate transaction processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborate on a solution
Perform regulatory controls, account reconciliations, and record retention activities in accordance with established policies
Prepare and submit periodic internal and external regulatory reports
Participate in the periodic General Ledger (GL) proofing exercises as directed
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
Relevant experience preferred
Fundamental understanding of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies
Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment
Demonstrated knowledge of macros
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting or Finance

Estamos buscando un Analista de Middle Office para nuestras operaciones Deuda y Capitales. Este opuesto es clave para garantizar la correcta ejecución y conciliación de operaciones, así como el seguimiento a procesos post-trading en coordinación con otras áreas. El candidato ideal tendrá un enfoque analítico, capacidad de trabajar en equipo y atención al detalle, desempeñándose en un ambiente dinámico y altamente regulado.
Responsabilidades :
Apoyar en la verificación, asignación y conciliación diaria de operaciones de capitales y deuda, asegurando su correcta ejecución y registro.
Confirmar operaciones con contrapartes financieras, en operaciones de Reporto y Directo.
Realizar el alta de los instrumentos financieros en diversos sistemas internos.
Participar en la automatización de procesos para mejorar la eficiencia operativa.
Colaborar con el equipo en proyectos de mejora continua, implementación de nuevos sistemas y adaptación a cambios regulatorios.
Requisitos :
Licenciatura en Economía, Finanzas, Administración, Contaduría, Actuaría o carreras afines. Recién egresado o de 1 a 2 años de experiencia en áreas de middle office, back office, operaciones o similares en el sector financiero.
Conocimiento en productos financieros como acciones, bonos, cetes, reportos, fondos de inversión, etc.
Habilidades analíticas y capacidad para interpretar datos financieros, con enfoque en la detección de discrepancias.
Dominio intermedio/avanzado de Excel (tablas dinámicas, fórmulas avanzadas).
Deseable conocimiento y experiencia en manejo de Power Query.
Habilidad para trabajar en equipo y bajo presión, con enfoque en resultados y atención al detalle.
Nivel intermedio de inglés (deseable).
Excelente capacidad de organización y comunicación.
