Aston Carter Payroll Specialist in City Of Industry, California

Steel manufacturing company looking for strong Payroll Specialist to support the team!

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in full-cycle payroll

ADP Workforce

Advanced knowledge in Excel functions

Multi-state payroll processing experience

Ability to create reports for payroll department

Job Description:

Process weekly payroll for 500 employees across multiple states using ADP WFN.

Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including salary, bonuses, deductions, and benefits.

Manage uploads for employee contributions to 401k and HSA accounts

Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in status.

Verify and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and payments.

Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits.

Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.

Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and distribution.

Prepare and distribute payroll reports to Management and other departments.

Process verification of employment requests, manage onset/stop garnishments, and provide payroll tax information to various entities.

Participate in special projects as required.
