Kelly Services is currently hiring for CNC Operators in the City of Industry! A top-renowned aerospace company is looking for reliable, consistent and prepared to be successful contributors for a long-term commitment with this temp-to-hire opportunity.

Location : City of Industry, CA

Monday-Friday

Shift: 10pm-5am Pay: $20-$23

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

• Sets up and operates machines with computer controls that use single or multiple spindle lathe type screw machines equipped with automatic indexing and feeding mechanisms to machine metal bar stock

• Measures dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures

• Mounts, installs, aligns and secures tools, attachments, fixtures, and work pieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments

• Listens to machines during operation in order to detect sounds such as those made by dull cutting tools or excessive vibration and adjust machines to compensate for problems

• Adjusts machine feed and speed, change cutting tools, or adjust machine controls when automatic programming is faulty or if machines malfunction

• Modifies cutting programs to account for problems encountered during operation and save modified programs

• Utilizes calipers, micrometers, and gauging tools to perform inspection to ensure conformance, dimension, and tolerance levels are within specifications

Qualifications:

• 1 year of CNC experience required, additional years in related experience preferred

• Knowledge of SPC, and departmental applications (Shop Floor System)

• Professional, reacts well under pressure, & follows through on commitments

• Respects for the instructions and rules established in the field of health, safety, and the environment at all times

• High school diploma or equivalent
