Set up and operate band anneal equipment for induction annealing blind fastener sleeves.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies:

Reads and interprets documents (blue prints, drawing, or manufacturing work orders), to ascertain what tools and materials are necessary for induction annealing blind fastener sleeves. Sets up and operates, on a

production basis, all assigned band anneal equipment. This includes settings and adjustments required to produce parts to specifications. Selects, installs and adjusts tooling in proper order and relationship. Makes all adjustments necessary to produce parts of acceptable quality. Performs installation testing to

evaluate machine settings using assembled parts, test buttons and installation tooling.

Performs installed shear and tension testing using text fixtures and speedy testers. Performs dimensions

inspection using measuring devices, such as, comparators, micrometers, calipers.

and digital indicators. Monitors production run to ensure conformance to specifications.

Reworks and directs reworking of tooling as needed. Meets and maintains all productivity levels and quality requirements to support departmental goals and schedules. Performs minor preventative.

The pay scale for this position ranges from $20.14 -$37.50 hourly
