Villalobos Snow Removal LLC Groundskeeper in Circleville, Ohio

JOB TITLE: Groundskeeper MULTIPLE WORKSITES: 350 Walnut Creek Pike, Circleville OH 43113 and client properties in Pickaway, Franklin, Fairfield, Hocking, and Ross counties.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Villalobos Snow Removal LLC is seeking to fill four (4) temporary, full-time seasonal Groundskeeper positions for October 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024.  Shovel snow. De-icing and removal of snow from walks, driveways and parking lots for various residential and commercial properties, using hand tools such as snow brooms, shovels, and spreading de-icing solutions, including calcium chloride or rock salt by hand. Grounds maintenance, such as litter cleanup, and other duties as assigned related to facilities maintenance, such as clearing roads and facilities of leaves, snow, or debris using hand tools or power equipment including but not limited to rakes, shovels, and snow/leaf blowers. Irrigation system winterization and activation. Potential for fall and spring clean-up, including raking, mulching, and composting of leaves, removal of dead plant material, perennial plant cutbacks, landscape bed mulching, and pruning from the ground. Collecting pine needles by hand for garland. Mowing, as needed. May also use walk behind electric or gas snow blowers, as needed. May drive crew vehicle to job sites, as needed. 

REQUIREMENTS: Must possess or be able to obtain valid non-commercial US driver's license. Must be 18 years or older. Must show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.  Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds.

WORK HOURS: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Friday

WAGE OFFER: $17.46 per hour paid weekly / Overtime $26.19 per hour 

All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES

BOARD, LODGING, OR FRINGE BENEFITS If requested, employer helps non-local workers secure optional worker-paid lodging. Employer deducts reasonable fair market value cost of rent/utilities based on number of occupants for workers electing to reside in employer-provided housing (cost TBD). Housing related expenses may also be paid directly to facility owner/operator and not payroll deducted.    

DAILY TRANSPORTATION (OPTIONAL) Workers are responsible for daily transportation to and from the designated pick-up location. Employer will then provide each work crew with daily transportation among the worksite locations.

FIRST WORKWEEK GUARANTEE Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visas, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees).

Inbound / Outbound Transportation and Subsistence If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
