Labcorp Facilities and Inventory Specialist in Cincinnati, Ohio

LabCorp is seeking a Facilities and Inventory Specialist to join our team in Cincinnati, OH . This position will be responsible for fulfilling customer orders of medical lab supplies and products.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with management to monitor and address facility cleanliness and safety

  • Maintain a clean and professional work area

  • Report any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate personnel

  • Perform routine safety checks for eye wash, safety showers and fire extinguishers

  • Act as point of contact for vendors with recurring facility services, rags and mats, eye wash and fire extinguisher inspections, first aid and PPE re-stocking etc

  • Reconcile inventory variances

  • Collaborate with stakeholders regarding inventory data, and recommend opportunities for standardization or improvement

  • Place orders for supplies from vendors via computer and telephone

  • Receive and process stock into inventory management system

  • Resolve all customer concerns efficiently and timely

  • Maintain inventory control according to company standards

  • Participate in scheduled cycle counts and full physical inventory

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

  • Previous medical or production experience is a plus

  • Knowledge of inventory control and cycle counts

  • Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills including MS Excel

  • Strong verbal communication skills

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
