Description: A Structural Analyst job in Cincinnati, OH is currently available at Belcan. This job is a full-time direct position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need Bachelor"s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent, and 2 years of experience in turbomachinery structural analysis. In this job your primary responsibility will be structural finite element analysis on gas turbine systems and components in a classified environment. You will report to an FEA Group Leader as a key member of a team to deliver engineering analysis solutions to Belcan"s customers. Your office will be located in Cincinnati, OH.

Structural Finite Element Analyst job duties:

• Generate and maintain structural finite element models

• Perform reviews for the analysis plan, model, and results, internally and with the customer

• Perform structural analysis, evaluate results, and prepare formal reports of the findings

• Perform classical hand calculations and use customer specific stress tools

• Maintain strong communication with the internal project management and with the client

• Mentor and instruct junior analysts

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent

• 2 years of gas turbine engine structural analysis experience using ANSYS

• US Citizenship is required

• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is absolutely required

Additional desirable qualifications:

• Master"s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent

• 10+ or more years in the aerospace industry

• Experience with analysis of composite structures in ANSYS

• Experience with NASTRAN and LSDYNA

• Experience with GE-specific turbomachinery analysis practices and tools

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $83,000 to $104,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
