Shared Services Associate Internship - Fall 2024 Job Locations United States-OH-Cincinnati | United States-OH-Cincinnati Category Finance & Accounting Job Summary The Medpace Shared Service Internship Program is a flexible, paid, professional development opportunity that offers hands-on finance and accounting experience. Internships are in-person and will vary in scope by department. Our interns will: * Build experience in processing of expenses, vendor invoices, project contracts and sponsor invoices. * Gain skills, meaningful work experience and targeted educational opportunities to develop business administration skill base * Learn to clearly communicate in a financial environment * Opportunity to potentially rotate across Shared Service teams Positions are available in the following Shared Services Teams: * Expense Auditing * Vendor Invoice processing and Project Contract Setup * Sponsor Invoice Generation Flexible Employment Dates: * Intern opportunities to be staffed and defined as applicable Responsibilities Manage the processing/calculation of billings for assigned customer base Generate monthly reporting for internal and external customers Manage project setup and review within accounting systems based on contracts and out of scope activities; Manage AP process within Medpace accounting systems Audit all expense reports and vendor invoices to ensure adherence to Medpace policies Maintain knowledge of appropriate Medpace Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines. Qualifications Working towards Associate's degree and prior work experience preferred; Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word preferred; Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines; and Ability to work 8:30 - 5:00 Monday - Friday within an office environment, but with a flexible schedule during peak times.
