Details: Job Title: Senior Product Quality Engineer Pay Rate: $42.00-$52.00/hour, direct with full benefits Locations: Cincinnati, OH 45242 (potential for partial remote schedule) Area Code: 513, 283 Shift: 1st Full time, direct job with benefits #firstarticleinspection #qualityengineeringjobs #aerospacesmanufacturingjobs #mrb We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure the highest standards in our aerospace customer's manufacturing processes. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of technical documentation, experience within the aerospace industry, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: *Oversee the approval process for supplier First Article Inspections (FAIs), ensuring compliance with quality standards. *Maintain the FAI tracker, providing weekly updates and identifying quality requirements for new part introductions. *Assess potential suppliers" quality management systems, gaining a thorough understanding of customer quality specifications. *Conduct comprehensive quality audits of new suppliers, participate in supplier reviews, and execute quarterly performance evaluations. *Ensure supplier adherence to customer specifications, manage supplier corrective actions (CARs), and document quality issues (QEMs). *Handle Non-Conformances (NC-MRB) and manage Source Problem Reports (SPRs), promoting resolutions that meet quality standards. *Actively contribute to daily internal team meetings, fostering a culture of quality improvement and collaboration. Core Qualifications: *Successful and rounded history in Quality Engineering, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in aerospace and turbine engine manufacturing. *Skilled in evaluating quality systems and managing supplier relationships, with an emphasis on continuous improvement. *Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and AS9100 standards *Demonstrated ability to lead quality audits, with a knack for identifying and resolving issues through effective corrective actions. *Excellent communication skills, essential for managing supplier interactions and collaborating with cross-functional teams. *Analytical mindset with a proven track record of driving quality initiatives and improving manufacturing processes. *Leadership capabilities, with experience guiding teams and coordinating quality projects, even without a bachelor"s degree. *Proficiency in using quality-related software tools and applications, complemented by strong organizational skills. Desired skills: * Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering Degree * Six Sigma training or certification * Prior experience as a quality auditor Belcan provides a competitive pay and benefits package.
