Role: Security Engineer Location: Remote Job Summary We are seeking a Security Engineer with demonstrated ability to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS Security, Azure VM Security, Azure Network Security Group, and Network Security Testing. This role is hybrid, with day shifts and no travel required. The Security Engineer will play a crucial role in safeguarding our company digital assets and ensuring the security of our network infrastructure. Responsibilities Implement and handle security measures for AWS and Azure environments to protect data and systems. Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate risks. Develop and carry out security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards. Monitor network traffic and system logs for unusual activity and respond to security incidents promptly. Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security standard processes into the software development lifecycle. Provide mentorship and support for secure configuration and management of Azure Virtual Machines. Supervise the implementation and maintenance of Azure Network Security Groups to control network traffic. Perform regular network security testing to identify and address potential vulnerabilities. Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to ensure the companys security posture remains strong. Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of security. Assist in the development and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Prepare and present security reports to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations. Work closely with external security vendors and partners to improve the companys security capabilities. Certifications Required Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) Applications will be accepted until 6 Feb 2025 Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $[90,000 - 118,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
