Adecco US, Inc. Research and Development Technician in Cincinnati, Ohio

Adecco is currently looking for candidates to work in Research and Development at a Fortune 500 Company in Winton Hills, OH

Length of Assignment:

  • Long term contract, there is no end date, you would continuously work as an Adecco contractor on-site. You would be an ADECCO contractor; This is not a temp to hire role.

Responsibilities for this Research and Development Technician job include:

  • Hand preparation of raw materials

  • Hand assembly of prototype products and components

  • Operating individual pieces of equipment as needed based on the project

  • Manual inspection, packaging, and labeling of prototype products

Requirements for this job include:

  • Minimum of 2 years supervisor experience

  • Minimum of 2 years assembly experience

  • Physical demands such as:

  • Ability to sit/stand for 8 hour shift

  • Ability to bend, reach, lift up to 50 lbs

  • Accredited High School Diploma / GED

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen test

Soft skills necessary for this R&D Manufacturing position:

  • EYE FOR DETAIL - these prototype products are used in upcoming research studies and must pass quality audits before use; if the prototype is outside of the set specifications, it cannot be used

  • ACCOUNTABILITY - each person needs to be accountable for their work and end results

  • SELF-STARTER - each person will be provided with training on the specific project but after the training period (could be as short as hours), he/she will need to work independently and efficiently

  • FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS - all of the project details will be provided in written format and will need to be followed step by step for quality results

  • REPETITION - the person will be doing a repetitive task until the number of prototypes are complete (could be thousands depending on the project)

  • FLEXIBILITY - associates will need to flow to the work and may be asked to complete pack out tasks such as weighing products and labeling as needed

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
