Job Summary:

This role has been designated by the company as Safety Sensitive.

Trane Technologies is hiring a Regional Service Operations Leader for the Great Lakes Region of our commercial HVAC business. In this role you will be leading a team of service managers, providing for all Service activities across IN, OH, and MI. Additionally, you will be working with key stakeholders to incorporate industry leading benchmarks and best practices to support the growth of the region and provide a top notch customer experience.

This position has been designated as Remote and work will be performed from any of the Trane Office Locations in Great Lakes (OH, MI, and IN).

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the service revenue stream, providing the leadership for all Service activities with internal and external customers

  • Accountable for the region’s service strategy and achievement of specific budget objectives

  • Collaborating with sales leaders and account managers to drive growth

  • Interfacing with customers to understand their desired outcomes

  • Incumbent must excel at hiring, developing, training, coaching, leading and motivating a diverse workforce for optimal results.

  • Ensure environmental, health and safety compliance within service team. Provide training to all employees to ensure a safe and productive work environment both in the shop and at customer sites.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in service leadership, preferably in a technical HVAC environment.

  • Strong customer skills and proven experience with building and maintaining relationships.

  • Demonstrated experience in building a strategy and operationalizing to deliver strong set of results

  • Strong communications skills and a demonstrated ability to gather facts and deliver succinct, sometimes complex, messages to business stakeholders and executives

  • Highly organized with a high attention to detail. Experience prioritizing multiple, often competing, priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to effectively collaborate across functions within the region.

  • Some travel expected, approximately 35%; regular travel within region.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to:

  • DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

Base Pay Range: $142,800 - $189,200. Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan.
