Advantage Technical Services, Inc Project Engineer - Manufacturing Process Optimization in Cincinnati, Ohio

Job Title: Project Engineer Shift: Day Shift Location: Cincinnati, OH Overview: The Project Engineer (PE) will report to the Engineering Manager and be responsible for optimizing machining processes using lean principles to produce high-quality products. This includes developing process routings, managing tooling, collaborating with shop floor teams, and ensuring product quality, cost, and delivery standards are met. Key Responsibilities: Review customer requirements from POs, blueprints, and specifications Develop and maintain process routings, operation instructions, and tooling Collaborate with quality engineers on inspection processes and equipment selection Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs Provide technical support to shop floor personnel Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions (FMEA, DMAIC, 5 WHY) Quote work, review legacy parts, and ensure profitability and on-time delivery Attend customer meetings and assist with training new team members Ensure compliance with quality standards (AS9100, Nadcap) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience 5+ years in manufacturing engineering (or 10+ years with high school diploma) Strong knowledge of machining, GD&T, CAD software (NX, AutoCAD), and lean principles Six Sigma Green Belt or similar certification preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality systems (AS9100, ISO, NADCAP) Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
