About the UC Center for Business Analytics The UC Center for Business Analytics (CBA) was founded more than 10 years ago to create an ecosystem for business analytics and data science among students, faculty, practitioners, and leaders seeking to build sustainable analytics capability in their organizations. The CBA has been recognized for its excellence in connecting academia to industry practice in analytics. The CBA provides four types of services to member organizations: leadership forums, conferences, professional development training courses, and student projects. Job Overview We are seeking a Program Coordinator to join our team. The Program Coordinator is a key member of the Center for Business Analytics (CBA) team that oversees event planning and execution, and financial administration, in addition to supporting the professional training program and other operations of the CBA. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual with multitasking abilities and strong communication skills who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively with team members, vendors, and stakeholders in both in-person and virtual formats. The CBA conducts about 20 events throughout the year for CBA members and public participants. There are two major Data Analytics conferences every year that require complex co-ordination across the team and CBA partners. The CBA's professional training program offers a variety of public and private non-degree courses in analytics. Professional training courses are offered in both in-person and online modalities. The Program Coordinator will work closely with the CBA Program Director to ensure that the CBA professional training courses are setup and executed smoothly. This position will report to the CBA Executive Director, and it is expected to be a 100% FTE role. This position will have the option of a hybrid work schedule (3 days in the office/2 days work from home) for those with a residence within OH/IN/KY following 90 days of training. Residence must be in the tri-state area within reasonable distance to UC Main Campus to have the ability to report to campus as required. Remote work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with university policies. Essential Functions Event Planning: * Plan and execute conferences and other member events. * Coordinate event meeting spaces, catering, speaker logistics, venue setup, volunteers, audiovisual and technology, and other services. * Create and monitor CBA event registrations. Professional Training Support: * Manage contracts, catering, classroom logistics, and payments to instructors. * Participate as part of the CBA training course facilitation team.
