Job Description: McGraw Kokosing is rapidly growing and looking to add an experienced estimator to our off-site manufacturing team. The estimator is responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with all mechanical piping projects. Primary Job Duties Analyze and verify project requirements, specifications, and scope of work Perform quantity takeoffs to develop estimated material and labor breakdowns Communicate with customers, vendors and subcontractors regarding assigned estimates Assist in assembling and sending out subcontractor bid packages Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and competitive bids Coordinate with BIM/VDC Team Coordinate with shop fabrication team Perform other duties as assigned by Offsite Manufacturing Manager Qualifications Must have piping, pipe support and skid/modular estimation experience General knowledge of estimating techniques and procedures Experience with Trimble Accubid Anywhere and fabrication software is a plus Bachelor or associate's degree is preferred but not required Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam Strong written and verbal communication skills Organizational skills Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills Ability to handle large volumes of work and multi-task Kokosing is an equal employment opportunity/affirmative action federal and state contractor.
