Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Patient Registration position in the healthcare industry, specifically in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role involves managing patient data, coordinating with healthcare software, and ensuring smooth communication within the medical facility.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process and monitor patient registrations using EHR Systems and Epic EMR.

• Attend to and resolve any patient inquiries in a timely manner.

• Maintain accurate records of patient data in accordance with industry standards.

• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments and surgeries as per the requirements.

• Handle inbound calls and direct them to the appropriate departments or personnel.

• Obtain necessary authorizations for patient procedures.

• Ensure the confidentiality and security of patient information in compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and departments to ensure seamless patient care.

• Stay updated with the latest healthcare software such as Allscripts and Cerner Technologies.

• Assist in the overall improvement of patient service and satisfaction. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting

• Proficiency in using EHR SYSTEM and Epic EMR software

• Demonstrated experience in answering inbound calls and providing excellent customer service

• Knowledge of authorizations and patient scheduling processes

• Expertise in surgery scheduling is highly desirable

• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills

• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to healthcare regulations

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary

• High school diploma or equivalent education level required; further qualifications in healthcare administration will be appreciated.
