This role has responsibility for the effectiveness and results of the Artwork Execution process and its Copy. Accountability may include any combination of Platform, Brand, or Category projects. The role manages a high level of complexity, projects and POA’s (pieces of art) on annual basis and has leadership responsibilities for regional and /or global tasks. This role is also responsible for Business Unit specific documenting procedures and training materials used by others and leads artwork reviews with other functions, higher level management and supplier hierarchy to build capability to support the business.

Additionally, the Artwork Specialist is also expected to ensure the collection of all other elements that are required to be on pack (example: Regulatory, Legal, Consumer Relations, and R&D Product Research / Package Development) copy, along with externally regulated symbols. The Artwork Specialist also owns the planning to allow timely delivery of Artworks in agreement with Initiative Leader and Base-plan.

Artwork is a critical business process as it provides the information needed for consumer/shopper communications (to select, use and dispose of our products), information needed to manage products through supply chains to point of purchase, and information required by government to sell these products. Providing artwork requirements and marketing copy content accurately and on time is key to ensure artwork quality and our delivery of our innovation pipeline.

Job Qualifications

Requirements (skills/experiences) for the role:

  • Design: Solid understanding the design creative process, design assets, production guidelines, and the importance of visual consistency – in design intent & print quality.

  • Enovia experience preferred, but not required.

  • Acts as business owner with sense of urgency and focus on priorities, operates with discipline.

  • Demonstrates ownership and accountability. A ‘can do’ attitude is a must.

  • Is able to influence and enable data-based and timely decisions.

  • Manages escalations effectively.

  • Works independently, puts order in complexity.

  • Leads meetings and communicates effectively.

  • Is able to command attention and provide clear directions to others.

  • Ability to analyze and assess current state and recommend systemic improvements. Proactively identify issues, implications, and provide potential solutions.

  • Develop deep understanding of pre-press and printing industry standards, print production, print processes and press capabilities, inks, materials/substrates, specialty inks/finishes, proofing, and pint trials.

Starting Pay / Salary Range: $61,500 – $85,300

Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience. At P&G compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Total rewards at P&G include salary + bonus (if applicable) + benefits.
