Aerotek is seeking immediate applicants for an HVAC Technician. Pay Rate $30-$37/hr. depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the infrastructure of the facility (pharmaceutical warehouse) for the PMs and troubleshooting service of the HVAC systems, mostly rooftop units.

• Electrical - 480v, 2 dual compressors (15 ton), copper lines

• PMs - coil cleaning, filter changes every 3 months.

• Service/troubleshooting - changing compressors, brazing, electrical troubleshooting, changing motors.

• Equipment - 13 humidifiers, 38 rooftop units (30-ton trane units, telepacked units - heating, cooling in one unit)

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of exp with commercial or industrial HVAC service.

• Experience with other facilities maintenance duties - carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical.

• EPA universal certification.

• Reading schematics for electrical troubleshooting with multimeter to determine what part of the HVAC system is not working properly.

Work Environment:

• Shift: 1st 8:30-4:30pm M-F (some weekend work; on-call for emergencies only)

• On-call pay is guaranteed 2 hours, if you are called in you get 4 additional hours minimum.

• HVAC systems are running 24/7 because the building needs to maintain a certain temp/humidity for the building.
