Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Cincinnati, Ohio

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The HR Manager will play a critical role in managing various HR-related tasks, including overseeing payroll processes, managing employee relations, and ensuring HR compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of job costs, regular, overtime, and vacation hours.

• Manage wage rates including Regular, OT, Prevailing Wages, and Premium Job rates.

• Ensure accurate payroll tax withholdings, deductions, and fringes.

• Supervise the processing of weekly travel reimbursements.

• Ensure the processing and reporting of weekly certified payroll requirements are carried out effectively.

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

• Manage the recruitment and selection process.

• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.

• Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.

• Nurture a positive working environment. Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a Human Resources (HR) role

• Construction Industry Experience preferred

• Proficient in compliance and HR policies

• Strong knowledge and understanding of HR strategy and HR administration

• Expertise in employee relations and hiring processes

• Familiarity with change management principles

• Ability to handle HR compliance issues effectively

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills

• Proficiency in HR-related software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

• Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
