Job Summary We are currently hiring an EMS Payroll Production Specialist for our Employee Management Service team, and our ideal candidate will possess a passion for impacting lives and our community. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure client payrolls are accurately processed through completion, including check printing and packaging, deposit advice printing and packaging, invoices, paper reports, electronic reports, and file data. Responsible for actions that result in the final payroll deliverables being of the highest quality and produced according to the client need. Essential Duties Your Day-to-Day Leadership includes Activities such as these: Provides direct customer service to a designated client list. Provides direct customer service to work-site employees. Imports/receives, interprets, prepares, verifies, and enters employee payroll data into the payroll system based upon schedules and priorities requiring sound judgement, decision making skills and a solid knowledge of payroll practices and individual clients' needs. Processes payroll through necessary steps in the payroll system; from entry though finalization before handing off to the Production group. Interprets and verifies employee direct deposit information before adding, changing, or deleting; this includes verification of document source and banking information. Interpret and set up various deductions and payments based on client requirements. Meet all deadlines to complete the payroll process. Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude for computation. Strong technical skill, especially related to HRIS systems and in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
