Description: An Electrical Engineering position is currently available at Belcan in Cincinnati, OH. This is a full-time, direct opportunity with benefits. Daily tasks would include working with a team consisting of fellow Belcan employees and customer employees to help design and develop electrical systems for their current projects. You would be in charge of designing electrical routing and containment of electrical components related to relays, panels, and wiring. You would be in charge of design and proofing of concept regarding spatial needs, electrical creepage and clearance, and customer requirements for delivery. You would be in charge of developing and delegating work for schematic designers and detailers and advancing production of designed electrical systems. Skills involved in daily activities would be design of harnesses using NX and NX routing, cooperation with an on-site team in either Florence KY or Amelia OH customer sites, and capability to communicate with Belcan team members with status updates and needs.

Job Duties:

Work and communicate with team members to help design and model electrical schematic layouts for components, panels, and/or wire harnesses. Use knowledge of NX routing and schematics to help take concepts and apply them to existing projects with spatial and electrical restrictions. Capability for new and innovative designs for harness and electrical needs typically with trailer vehicles.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or better in Electrical Engineering

4+ years of experience

NX experience

NX schematic and routing experience

Wire harness design and/or panel building or electrical background (ex. Electrical engineer/designer)

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Advanced electrical design experience

Mechanical design experience

Compensation:

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $83,200 to $104,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.'
