Job Title: EDM/CNC Machine

Job Description

he successful candidate will be responsible for operating a CNC/EDM machine on 1st or 2nd shift. Initial training will be provided on the 1st shift for a period of 2-3 months. The role demands a minimum of 5 years of experience in setting up and operating Milling machines, specifically a TC-30. Proficiency with either Milacron Controls or Fagor controls is a prerequisite. The successful candidate will have the ability to edit programming on the machine, perform checks on work in process to ensure adherence to quality and production standards, and use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges. The role involves changing settings for various production runs, managing work supplies from the tool crib as needed, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and ensuring optimal equipment operating conditions. Use of hand tools and deburring parts in completion of production work may also be required.

Hard Skills

• 5 years of experience in setting up and operating Milling machines

• Experience with Milacron Controls or Fagor controls

• Ability to edit programming on the machine

• Experience with micrometers, calipers, bore gauges and other inspection tools

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Work Environment

The position is based in a machine shop job shop that is not climate controlled.
