GENERAL FUNCTION:

Acts independently to perform more complex Currency Processing Solutions (CPS) conversion coordination duties including: completion of customer correspondence and conversion schedules, completion of required paperwork such as worksheets and completion of other required conversion tasks as necessary. These duties include management of Consulting Specialists.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages a group of Consulting Specialists including performance evaluation, scheduling of exception time, and career development.

  • Set aggressive goals and monitor employees# progress.

  • Provide employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback.

  • Develop employees to their fullest potential.

  • Provide challenging opportunities that increase employee exposure and enhance employee career growth.

  • Develop the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate staffing levels, bench strength, and succession planning.

  • Recognize and reward employees for accomplishments.

  • Inspires team to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Serves as customer escalation contact for all conversions assigned to team.

  • Responsible for performing on-boarding activities for individuals on their team.

  • Works with Sales team to create ROI and business case analysis.

  • Completes Time and Motion studies and corresponding reports for client analysis.

  • Presents solution to prospects with sales team.

  • Performs Project Management, which includes coordinating with CPS Sales, CPS Relationship Managers, Product Managers, Vendor teams and the merchant.

  • Establishes pilot parameters and measurable objectives for moving to production.

  • Works with the merchant, product management, and vendor to make system modifications if necessary during pilot.

  • Creates conversion schedules and task assignments for rollout, including training, installation, testing and go live.

  • Coordinates site analysis with customer to determine placement of hardware and site modifications.

  • Assists merchant in establishing new cash handling and other operational procedures to incorporate CPS into their operation both in the front user and the back office management.

  • Performs routine post-conversion follow-up support as needed.

  • Writes and maintains applicable conversion procedures as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages a group of Consulting Specialists including performance appraisals, scheduling of exception time, and career development.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Four-year degree in business or related field preferred.

  • 10+ more years of experience in store operations or industrial engineering preferred.

  • Technical knowledge to consult on Smart Safes, cash flow, working capital, treasury management and relative currency processing solutions preferred.

  • Ability to clearly communicate CPS processing concepts verbally and in written form is a mandatory requirement of this position.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Organizational and time management skills.

  • Requires 4-5 years experience as a Consulting Specialist and 3-5 years of management experience or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience with Microsoft office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is necessary.
