Experienced CNC Tool and Cutter Grinder

Summary: We are seeking an experienced CNC Tool and Cutter Grinder to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in producing complex machined parts with precision and efficiency. They will have expertise in setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines, particularly ANCA or Rollomatic, while maintaining stringent quality and safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints and job orders to determine product specifications, including dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions.

• Select, position, and secure tools in toolholders, adjusting settings to maintain required quality output.

• Inspect products during machining operations to ensure compliance with specifications, utilizing established standards and methods for inspection and testing.

• Set up fixtures and feeding devices, monitor operations, and verify conformance of machined workpieces to specifications.

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and report repair needs as necessary.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints, including GD&T tolerancing.

• Proficiency in setting up and operating ANCA or Rollomatic CNC machines preferred.

• Strong mathematical skills and ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, employees are frequently required to stand and walk. They may occasionally sit, use hands to handle tools, reach with hands and arms, and stoop or kneel. They must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
